Our 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

Our voluntary 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee applies only to a standalone individual online course purchased separately from a Good Dogs! membership.

If a standalone course is not right for you and your dog, email us within 30 days of purchase and you will receive a full refund.

No awkward conversations or hassle.

Courses accessed as part of a Good Dogs! Academy or Pro membership are not covered by this guarantee because they form part of the membership rather than a separate course purchase.

This voluntary guarantee is separate from, and does not affect, any statutory consumer rights you may have.

How To Request A Standalone Course Refund

Email admin@good-dogs.co.uk within 30 days of purchasing your standalone individual course.

Please contact us using the email address you purchased with and include:

  • Your full name.

  • The name of the course.

  • The date of purchase, if known.

  • A clear statement that you would like a refund.

We will confirm your refund by email.

How Standalone Course Refunds Are Paid

Refunds will be returned to the payment method originally used.

We aim to process refunds made under our voluntary guarantee within 10 working days after confirming your request.

Your bank, card provider or payment service may take additional time to show the refund in your account.

Once your refund has been processed, your access to the refunded standalone course will end.

Where a refund is required under your statutory rights, it will be processed within the timeframe required by law.

Memberships And Subscriptions

Good Dogs! Academy and Pro memberships are not covered by our voluntary 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee.

We do not offer voluntary refunds for:

  • Monthly or annual membership payments.

  • Membership renewal payments.

  • Courses accessed through a membership.

  • Unused membership time.

This does not affect any cancellation or refund right that must be provided by law.

Statutory Right To Cancel A New Membership

If you are a UK consumer purchasing a new membership online for purposes wholly or mainly outside your trade, business, craft or profession, you will normally have a statutory right to cancel your new membership without giving a reason.

The statutory cancellation period ends 14 days after the day on which the membership contract is made.

To exercise this right, you must tell us clearly that you wish to cancel before the cancellation period ends.

You may use the Model Cancellation Form in our Terms and Conditions or email:

admin@good-dogs.co.uk

Please include:

  • Your full name.

  • The email address used when joining.

  • The name of your membership.

  • The date you joined, if known.

  • A clear statement that you wish to cancel your membership.

You do not have to give a reason for cancelling.

Where a valid statutory cancellation applies, your membership access will end and your membership payment will be refunded within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice.

The refund will normally be returned to the payment method originally used.

This statutory cancellation right is separate from our voluntary 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee.

It is not an additional Good Dogs! money-back guarantee and applies only where required by law.

Cancelling Future Membership Renewals

You may cancel future membership renewals at any time through your account or by emailing:

admin@good-dogs.co.uk

Cancelling your membership stops future renewal payments.

Unless you are exercising an applicable statutory cancellation right, you will continue to have access until the end of the monthly or annual membership period already paid for.

Cancelling after the applicable statutory cancellation period has ended does not create an entitlement to a full or partial refund for unused membership time.

Membership payments and renewal payments are not voluntarily refundable, except where a refund is required by law.

Please cancel before your next renewal date if you do not wish your membership to continue.

Courses Accessed Through A Membership

Courses accessed through a Good Dogs! Academy or Pro membership form part of the membership.

They are not treated as separately purchased courses and are not covered by our voluntary 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee.

Access to membership courses and benefits will end when the paid membership period expires following cancellation.

Access may end earlier where a valid statutory cancellation of a new membership applies.

Any standalone course purchased separately from the membership will remain subject to the access and refund terms that applied when that standalone course was purchased.

Special And Locked Membership Rates

Where a special or locked membership rate was offered when you joined, that rate will continue for as long as the relevant membership remains continuously active and renewal payments are successfully made.

If you cancel the membership, allow it to expire or a renewal payment cannot be collected, the special rate may be lost.

If you later rejoin, the membership price available at that time will apply.

Cancellation of a membership does not create an entitlement to a refund for any unused part of the period already paid for, except where required by law.

Physical Products

Physical products, including DVD collections, may be returned under our voluntary returns policy within 30 days of delivery, provided they remain:

  • Sealed.

  • Unopened.

  • Unused.

  • In their original condition.

Please email admin@good-dogs.co.uk before returning anything so that we can confirm the return details.

Returns should be sent to:

Good Dogs!

PO Box 688

East Grinstead

West Sussex

RH19 4UE

England

You are responsible for the cost of returning an unwanted physical product.

Please obtain proof of posting and retain it until your refund has been completed.

The sealed and unopened requirement does not apply where an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.

In those circumstances, please contact us before returning the item so that we can arrange an appropriate remedy.

Statutory Cancellation Of Physical Product Orders

UK consumers purchasing physical products online will normally have the right to tell us that they wish to cancel their order within 14 days after the day on which the product is received.

You do not have to give a reason for cancelling.

To cancel, email:

admin@good-dogs.co.uk

Please include:

  • Your full name.

  • The email address used when ordering.

  • Details of the product.

  • The date it was received, if known.

  • A clear statement that you wish to cancel the order.

After telling us that you wish to cancel, the product must normally be returned within a further 14 days.

Unless the product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, you are responsible for the cost of returning it.

DVDs and other sealed audio or video recordings are not normally eligible for a statutory change-of-mind refund once the seal has been broken.

Where a valid statutory cancellation applies, we will issue the refund within 14 days after:

  • Receiving the returned product; or

  • Receiving satisfactory evidence that the product has been returned,

whichever happens first.

The refund will be returned to the payment method originally used.

Where applicable, the refund will include the price paid and any standard delivery charge.

If you chose a more expensive premium or expedited delivery option when a lower-priced standard option was available, we are not required to refund the additional delivery cost.

UK distance-selling customers generally have 14 days to notify the seller that they are cancelling and a further 14 days to return the goods. Unsealed DVDs are excluded from the change-of-mind right, although rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods remain.

How Physical Product Refunds Are Paid

Refunds for returned physical products will be returned to the payment method originally used.

For returns under our voluntary 30-day policy, refunds will normally be processed within 14 days of the returned item arriving back with us.

For valid statutory cancellations, refunds will be processed within the statutory timeframe described above.

Your bank, card provider or payment service may take additional time to show the refund in your account.

Faulty, Damaged, Incorrect Or Misdescribed Products

The time limits and conditions for change-of-mind returns do not restrict your rights where a course, service, digital product or physical product is:

  • Faulty.

  • Damaged.

  • Incorrect.

  • Not as described.

  • Not supplied with reasonable care and skill where that legal standard applies.

Please email admin@good-dogs.co.uk with details of the problem.

For physical products, we may ask for photographs or other reasonable information to help us understand the problem.

Where required by law, we will provide an appropriate remedy. This may include:

  • Repair.

  • Replacement.

  • Repeat performance.

  • A price reduction.

  • A full or partial refund.

Nothing in this policy restricts the remedies available to you under applicable consumer law.

Customers Outside The United Kingdom

If you live outside the United Kingdom, mandatory consumer protections in your country or place of residence may also apply.

Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to remove any consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes or limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

Your statutory rights are separate from our voluntary 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee and our voluntary physical-product returns policy.

For further information about your UK consumer rights, you may contact Citizens Advice or your local Trading Standards service.
