1. About These Terms

These Terms and Conditions apply to purchases from Good Dogs!, including standalone online courses, memberships and physical products purchased through good-dogs.co.uk and good-dogs.systeme.io.

By placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Please read them carefully before purchasing.

2. What We Sell

Standalone online courses: Digital video training and supporting materials delivered through our online course area. Access details are sent by email following purchase.

Memberships: Subscription access to the Good Dogs! course library, community and applicable member benefits. Memberships may be offered on a monthly or annual payment basis.

Physical products: Products such as DVD collections, delivered to the address supplied when you order.

The contents, price, payment frequency and specific features of each course, product or membership are shown on the relevant sales and checkout pages before you purchase.

3. Course And Membership Access

Standalone course purchases include lifetime access to the course purchased.

In this context, lifetime access means access for as long as the course remains available and Good Dogs! continues to operate or provide access to its online training.

We may update, improve, replace or reorganise course lessons and materials from time to time, provided this does not materially reduce the overall training purchased.

Membership access continues throughout the monthly or annual period for which payment has been successfully made.

Membership access will end when the paid membership period expires following cancellation, or if a renewal payment cannot be collected.

Access is personal to the purchaser.

You must not:

  • Share your login details with another person.

  • Allow another person to use your account.

  • Copy, record or reproduce materials, except where a download is specifically provided.

  • Share, resell, redistribute or publicly display course or membership content.

We may suspend or remove access where we reasonably believe that an account is being shared, used fraudulently or used in serious breach of these Terms.

4. Prices And Payments

Prices are displayed in pounds sterling and include any applicable taxes unless clearly stated otherwise.

You must provide accurate payment and contact information when placing an order.

Payment for a standalone course or physical product is taken at the time of purchase.

Membership payments are taken according to the monthly or annual payment option selected at checkout.

Membership subscriptions renew automatically using the payment method used at purchase unless cancelled before the next renewal payment becomes due.

The price, billing frequency and automatic renewal terms will be shown before you complete your purchase.

5. Membership Renewals And Cancellation

Good Dogs! Academy and Pro memberships may be purchased on a monthly or annual basis.

There is no commitment beyond the monthly or annual membership period already paid for.

You may cancel future membership renewals at any time through your account or by emailing:

admin@good-dogs.co.uk

Cancelling your membership stops future renewal payments.

Unless you are exercising a statutory cancellation right, your membership access will continue until the end of the monthly or annual period already paid for.

Cancelling an annual membership does not create an entitlement to a full or partial refund for the unused part of that year, except where a refund is required by law.

Membership payments, including renewal payments, are not covered by our voluntary 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee.

Please cancel before your next renewal date if you do not wish your membership to continue.

Where a special or locked membership rate was offered at purchase, that rate will continue for as long as the relevant membership remains continuously active and renewal payments are successfully made.

If the membership is cancelled, expires because a payment cannot be collected, or is later restarted, the previous special rate may no longer be available.

The membership price available at the time of rejoining will then apply.

6. Statutory Right To Cancel A New Membership

If you are a UK consumer purchasing a new membership online for purposes wholly or mainly outside your trade, business, craft or profession, you will normally have a statutory right to cancel the new membership without giving a reason.

The statutory cancellation period ends 14 days after the day on which the membership contract is made.

To exercise this right, you must tell us clearly that you wish to cancel before the cancellation period ends.

You may cancel by emailing:

admin@good-dogs.co.uk

Please include:

  • Your full name.

  • The email address used when purchasing.

  • The name of the membership.

  • The date on which you joined.

  • A clear statement that you wish to cancel the membership.

You do not need to provide a reason for cancelling.

Where a valid statutory cancellation applies, your membership access will end and any refund required by law will be issued within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice.

Refunds will normally be returned to the payment method originally used.

This statutory cancellation right is separate from our voluntary 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee.

The voluntary 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee applies only to qualifying standalone online courses purchased separately from a Good Dogs! membership.

After the applicable statutory cancellation period has ended, we do not provide voluntary refunds for membership payments or unused membership time.

Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Model Cancellation Form

You may use this form to cancel a membership during an applicable statutory cancellation period. You do not have to use this form and may instead email admin@good-dogs.co.uk

In the Subject box, please enter:

Membership cancellation

In the Message box, please include:

  • The name of the membership you wish to cancel

  • The date you joined, if known

  • A clear statement that you wish to cancel the membership

We will use the name and email address entered on the form to locate your membership.

7. Immediate Access To Digital Content And Services

Our online courses and membership course libraries contain digital content that is supplied electronically.

In some circumstances, you may be asked to request immediate access to digital content before the statutory cancellation period has ended.

Where we obtain your express consent to begin supplying digital content immediately and your acknowledgement that your cancellation right will be lost once supply begins, your statutory right to cancel that digital content may end when access begins.

Where the legally required consent and acknowledgement have not been obtained, your statutory rights will remain unaffected.

A membership may also include ongoing services, such as community access, Members’ Questions, new monthly content and other member benefits.

Where you expressly request that an ongoing service begins during the statutory cancellation period and then cancel within that period, you may be required to pay a reasonable and proportionate amount for services already supplied, where permitted by law.

Nothing in this section affects your rights where digital content or services are faulty, materially misdescribed or not supplied as agreed.

8. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our separate Refund Policy.

The voluntary 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee applies only to standalone individual online courses purchased separately from a Good Dogs! membership.

It does not apply to:

  • Good Dogs! Academy membership payments.

  • Pro membership payments.

  • Courses accessed as part of a membership.

  • Membership renewal payments.

  • Unused membership time after the applicable statutory cancellation period has ended.

Membership payments are not voluntarily refundable except where expressly stated or where a refund is required by law.

Cancelling a membership prevents future renewal payments. It does not normally create an entitlement to a refund for the membership period already paid for.

Nothing in these Terms or our Refund Policy excludes or limits your statutory consumer rights.

9. Physical Products And Delivery

Physical products will be delivered to the address supplied at checkout.

You are responsible for ensuring that your delivery details are complete and accurate.

Any delivery charge will either be included in the advertised product price or clearly shown before payment.

We aim to dispatch orders promptly.

Unless another delivery period is stated when you order, products will be delivered within 30 days.

Customers receiving products outside the United Kingdom are responsible for any customs charges, import duties or local taxes that may become payable, unless we state otherwise at checkout.

Returns, cancellations and refunds for physical products are governed by our Refund Policy.

Where a statutory right to cancel applies to a physical product purchased online, you must tell us that you wish to cancel within 14 days after the day on which you receive the product.

You must then return the product within 14 days after telling us that you wish to cancel.

Unless the product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, you are responsible for the cost of returning it.

Sealed DVDs may be returned under the conditions stated in our Refund Policy.

DVDs that have been unsealed are not normally eligible for a change-of-mind refund.

This does not affect your rights where an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.

10. Intellectual Property

All course content, videos, eBooks, downloads, images, materials, website content and Good Dogs! branding remain the intellectual property of Sharon Bolt trading as Good Dogs!, or their respective rights holders.

Your purchase gives you a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the materials for your own learning.

You may not copy, reproduce, adapt, sell, license, redistribute, publish, upload, teach from or otherwise make the materials available to another person without prior written permission.

You must not use any Good Dogs! course or membership materials to create, develop or sell a competing course, membership, training programme, publication or other product.

11. Training Advice And Your Dog

Our courses provide educational dog-training guidance using kind methods without force, shouting or gadgets.

Every dog and situation is different.

Results depend on factors including your dog, their history, health, environment and the consistent application of the methods.

We cannot guarantee a particular result or timescale.

You remain responsible for:

  • Supervising your dog.

  • Using the training safely and appropriately.

  • Protecting other people and animals.

  • Seeking suitable professional help where necessary.

Take particular care if your dog has shown aggression, has bitten or presents a risk to people or other animals.

Online training may not be suitable for every aggression case.

Behavioural changes can sometimes have an underlying medical cause.

Please consult your vet when you have concerns about your dog’s health or where a behaviour may be linked to pain, illness or medication.

12. Raw Feeding, Natural Remedies And Health Information

Content about raw feeding, nutrition, herbs, homeopathy, aromatherapy, Bach flower remedies and other natural approaches is provided for general educational purposes.

It is not veterinary diagnosis or treatment and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified vet who knows your dog.

You are responsible for deciding whether any food, remedy or approach is suitable for your dog.

Consult your vet before making changes where your dog:

  • Has an existing health condition.

  • Takes medication.

  • Is receiving a prescribed diet.

  • Is pregnant or nursing.

  • Is very young, elderly or medically vulnerable.

Seek veterinary help promptly if your dog is unwell or requires urgent treatment.

13. Certificates Of Completion

Where offered, a Good Dogs! Certificate of Completion confirms only that the named student has completed the relevant online training course.

It is not a regulated qualification, professional licence or accreditation.

It does not constitute an endorsement by Sharon Bolt or Good Dogs! of the holder’s skills, services or suitability to work as a dog trainer.

Completion does not guarantee employment, clients, income or permission to practise as a dog trainer.

You are responsible for checking any legal, insurance, licensing or professional requirements that apply where you live or work.

14. Membership Communities

Members using a Good Dogs! community must communicate respectfully.

You must not post content that is abusive, threatening, discriminatory, unlawful, misleading or harmful.

You must not use the community to:

  • Advertise unrelated products or services.

  • Collect another member’s personal information.

  • Send unsolicited promotional messages.

  • Provide advice that could put a person or animal at risk.

  • Harass or intimidate another member.

We may remove content or restrict community access where reasonably necessary to protect members, Good Dogs! or the welfare of animals.

Serious or repeated breaches may result in community access being removed.

Removal from the community because of a serious breach does not automatically create an entitlement to a refund.

This does not affect any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.

15. Website And Platform Availability

We aim to provide reliable access but cannot promise that the website, payment provider or course platform will always be uninterrupted or free from technical problems.

Maintenance, updates and circumstances beyond our reasonable control may occasionally affect access.

Where a problem is within our control, we will take reasonable steps to restore access.

We may change the platform used to deliver courses or memberships, provided members and customers continue to receive materially equivalent access.

16. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence.

  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

  • Breach of your statutory consumer rights.

  • Any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.

We are not responsible for losses that:

  • Were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made.

  • Were not caused by a breach on our part.

  • Result from misuse of the materials or failure to follow reasonable safety guidance.

  • Arise from decisions made without seeking appropriate veterinary, legal, insurance or other professional advice where necessary.

Nothing in these Terms limits your right to seek a remedy where goods, digital content or services do not meet the standards required by law.

17. Your Statutory Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

Goods, digital content and services must meet the standards required by applicable consumer law.

This includes the requirement for them to be as described and, where applicable, of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and supplied with reasonable care and skill.

Your statutory rights are separate from any voluntary guarantee offered by Good Dogs!.

For information about your statutory rights, you may contact Citizens Advice or your local Trading Standards service.

18. Complaints

Please contact us first if you have a concern about a course, membership, physical product or payment.

You can email:

admin@good-dogs.co.uk

Please include your name, the email address used for the purchase and details of your concern.

We will review the matter and respond as soon as reasonably possible.

19. Changes To These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our products, business practices or legal obligations.

The version in force when you make a standalone purchase will apply to that purchase.

For an ongoing membership, we will notify you of any material change that significantly affects your rights or membership before that change takes effect.

Changes will not remove statutory rights that applied when your contract was made.

20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you live elsewhere, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protections available in your country or place of residence.

Nothing in this section prevents you from bringing proceedings in another court where consumer law gives you that right.
