How to have harmony on the walk, integrate dog aggression and stop incessant barking.
Hello, my name is Sharon Bolt (founder of Good Dogs!) and I’d like to personally welcome you to this page.
It is divided into 4 sections and in each section I talk about a different unwanted behaviour. I explain why that behaviour occurs and what you can do to change it in a kind, calm and effective way. In order to help you further there are transcripts and videos that demonstrate and clarify the methods that I suggest.
Before you get started you may like to watch a short video which explains why I do what I do today, how my whole life suddenly changed and why it was crucial that I found a non-conventional dog training method that was kind and gentle really FAST!
Here’s some photos of ‘The boys!’
SECTION 1 – What the walk really means to your dog.
In my experience, the walk is the most common area that dogs look for leadership. If your dog is barging out the door first or pulling on the lead then they are demonstrating their leadership to you. During this video I explain how you can become the leader rather than the follower in this vital area and how to get your dog to come back when they are off the lead.
In this video I demonstrate how to prepare for the walk in order to have a pleasurable experience when you go out.
In this video I demonstrate an easy technique that quickly stops dogs from pulling on the lead plus what to do if your dog ‘mouths’ the lead.
In this video I show you another simple method that stops dogs from pulling on the lead fast, plus a technique that integrates dogs who are dog aggressive.
In this video I talk about ‘Recall Training’ and how to get your dog to come back when they are off the lead.
Watch this video to find out what ‘The points to remember’ are when your dog is off the lead.
Section 2 – Why dogs attack and the part you play.
Dog aggression is a common unwanted behaviour we see today. During this video I explain why attacks happen, the part dog owners play(!) and how to integrate aggressive dogs with other dogs.
In this video I demonstrate how to get your dog to walk by your side first and how to then integrate them with another dog.

SECTION 3 – Why dogs bark and what they are really saying

During this video I show you some simple techniques for you to do when someone knocks on your door which gives your dog the communication that you are in charge.

Do you have a dog who is fearful of men and barks nervously at them? In this video I show you what to do and how to change this.
SECTION 4 – What your dog is really saying to you.
Your dog is talking to you all the time. During this video you’ll discover what your dog is saying to you through non-verbal communication, body language and calming signals.
I wish you lots of fun and enjoyment with your dog. By convincing them that you are a calm, confident and strong leader you’ll get a happy, well-balanced and well-behaved dog.
Wishing you all the very best,
Sharon and ‘The boys’
